North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information in relation to a bike theft that occurred on Holgate Park Drive.
The incident happened outside Gateway 1 on Holgate Park Drive at approximately 1.30pm on Wednesday 10 May 2023.
Two teenagers used an angle grinder to break the lock to a bike. The suspects are described as being approximately 16-years-old and were wearing dark clothing. One of the then had a black backpack and the other had a body bag over his right shoulder.
The stolen bike is a Boardman, SLR 6 speed road bike. It has a blue frame, dropped handlebars, a bell, white reflector to front handlebars and a red to rear seat.
Police are now requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should email [email protected].
