North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a burglary at Clifton Green Primary School in York.
The incident happened at around 9:50pm on Saturday 17 June 2023.
A group of people entered the school causing significant damage to the roof as well as damaging a canopy and garden plants within the grounds.
Disturbance included open drawers, with first aid kits and school equipment thrown across the floor. There were also a number of items stolen from the school including Chromebooks and a large teddy bear.
Police are appealing for information to help establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and would like to hear from anyone with information about either the damage caused or items stolen from the school. If anyone saw anything in this area around the time of the burglary we would encourage you to get in touch.
