North Yorkshire Police is investigating a serious two-vehicle collision on the A6068 Colne Road at Cowling at round 1.30am on Thursday (13 July 2023).
It involved a silver Hyundai i30 estate that was travelling in the direction of Colne, Lancashire, when it collided with an unattended parked car before leaving the road into a ravine.
The occupant of the Hyundai, a man aged in his mid-20s from Colne, sustained serious injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening. He was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision, motorist with relevant dash-cam footage, or anyone who may have seen the silver Hyundai i30 prior to the incident.
