Police are appealing for private CCTV footage and information after entry was forced and electronic devices along with two vehicles were stolen during a burglary at a property on Tomlinson Way in Sherburn-in-Elmet.
At some time between 12:30am and 5am on Monday 30 October thieves gained entry to the property by snapping the lock.
They then went on to remove electronic devices. During their search of the property the suspects located car keys and stole two cars from the driveway.
The same evening three people were seen acting suspiciously around Pasture Close, Pasture Way, Copperfield Close, Springfield Road and Carr Avenue in Sherburn.
We are carrying out enquiries and are appealing for the public for their assistance to help identify suspects involved.
Anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area, or anyone who captured dash cam, doorbell or CCTV footage are asked to get in touch.
