Officers in Skipton are appealing for witnesses to a serious collision which happened at around 5.10pm on The Bailey (A6131) on Friday 29 September.
Eye-witnesses reported a collision between a grey BMW and dark blue Peugeot 308. The collision left the driver of the Peugeot trapped in the vehicle.
Emergency services attended the scene and successfully extracted the driver, a man in his thirties from Lancashire. He was taken to hospital and has since been discharged with minor injuries and bruising.
The driver of the BMW is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time of the collision, who witnessed either car prior to the incident or the incident itself, to get in touch. They’d particularly like to speak to any drivers who captured dash cam footage of the vehicles involved or the collision.
Anyone who could assist the investigation is asked to email [email protected] or dial 101, select option 2 and ask to speak to PC 437 Raheel Akram of the Neighbourhood Policing Team, Skipton. Please quote reference number 12230184943.
