Police in Skipton are appealing for witnesses after a 14-year-old boy was repeatedly punched in the face by another male who was with a group of people at Skipton bus station.
It happened at around 5pm to 6pm on the evening of Saturday 2 December 2023.
The victim suffered significant injuries his eye socket and was taken to hospital for treatment which is ongoing due to the severity.
Officers are appealing to anyone who was at the bus station at the time and witnessed the incident and the events leading up to it, to get in touch.
They are also appealing to anyone who knows about the incident and has any information that can help them identify the suspect or the group of people he was with, to contact them.
