North Yorkshire Police has issued footage of a man they would like to speak to following a burglary at a store located on the Pavement, York.
It happened at the York Gin store on the Pavement at around 11pm on 23rd of January 2024 and involved a male smashing the window of the store and taking three bottles from a display.
The bottles actually contained only water.
Officers are asking members of the public to get in touch if they recognise the person in the footage as they believe they will have information that will help the investigation.
Although the person’s face cannot be seen in this footage, they are hoping someone may recognise them from their movements or the clothing that they are wearing.
Anyone with any information is asked to email [email protected] or call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Harl Pattison.
If you wish to remain anonymous, you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111. Job 12240014097
