Skipton shop burglary under investigation

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a commercial burglary that occurred in Skipton.

It happened at around 6pm on 17 January 2024 and involved Dawson's department store. A group of youths broke in, took tools and flooded the store, causing surrounding stores to be damaged as well.

We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, in particular, the identity of the people involved.
