Appeal following racially aggravated assault

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information in relation to a racially aggravated Assault that occurred in Harrogate.

It happened at approximately 8.40pm on Saturday 03 February 2024 on Albert Street. The victim who was in his car at the time of the offence was approached by a man who verbally and physically assaulted him.

Police are now requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, officers are appealing for information from a group of women who were on Albert Street at the time of the incident.
