North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in Scarborough.
It happened on Westborough at 3.10pm yesterday (Tuesday 27 February) and involved four women, one of whom was assaulted.
One of the women in involved was wearing a distinctive coral-coloured jumper. Nobody was seriously injured during the incident.
Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, officers are appealing for information in relation to the build up to the assault and anybody who witnessed the assault.
