We’re appealing for information following an assault on a cyclist that happened at Holgate Road in York.
The incident happened at around 9:40am on Thursday 7 March and involved three men.
The victim, who was riding a yellow bike, was knocked off their bike onto the middle of Holgate Road by a man, before being punched several times in the head. As a result of the assault the cyclist sustained facial and head injuries, and required hospital treatment.
We’d like to speak to anyone who witnessed this incident as it happened at a busy time of day and there were a number of people that stopped to help.
