Our Rural Task Force is investigating the theft of two trailers and a STIHL saw from a farm near Malton.
It happened in West Heslerton overnight between Friday 8 and Saturday 9 March.
The first trailer is described as a 2010 Graham Edwards FB3514 14ft flatbed twin axle trailer with a kinked headboard.
The second trailer is a 2014 Ifor Williams GD105 twin axle flatbed trailer with caged sides.
Have seen these trailers, know where they are stored or seen one for sale just like it?
If you have, please let us know by emailing [email protected]
You can also call North Yorkshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 12240042530. If you wish to remain anonymous, you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
In response to trailer thefts reported in 2023/2024, North Yorkshire Police has launched Operation Load led by the Rural Task Force team which is a campaign to raise awareness and educate trailer owners to the issue of trailer theft, working to reduce the number of trailers stolen through prevention and target hardening measures.
Rural officers will also be targeting hotspot areas with pro-active patrols. If you own a trailer and would like more information how to keep your property safe, call 101 and asked to speak to your local Rural Task Force PCSO.
