Selby-area racetrack assault - police appeal

We’re appealing for information about an assault that occurred at a racetrack near Eggborough.

It happened at 2pm on Saturday 13 April 2024, at Gale Common Motopark, and involved a fight between several people watching a race.

The victim was punched and kicked, suffering bruising and a bitten finger which required in hospital treatment.

We’re appealing for details of anybody believed to be involved, who witnessed the incident, or took video footage of it happening. In addition, should any vehicles with dashcam be available, we would be interested in speaking to you.
