A motorcyclist has been airlifted to hospital today after a serious crash in the Dales.
The man in his 30s from Bolton was riding a green and black Kawasaki on the B6479 from Settle towards Ribblehead when it left the road and hit a dry stone wall.
He was taken to hospital by air ambulance following the incident, which happened at 11am, and remains in a critical condition.
Emergency services attended the scene and we are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage who has not yet spoken to us.
In particular, we’d like to speak to the occupants of a silver Skoda Citigo which was travelling towards Settle who may have seen the incident.
Please contact Traffic Sergeant Mark Patterson by emailing [email protected] or call us on 101 and ask for Mark Patterson.
