Two women sought by police after purse theft in York

We’ve issued these CCTV stills of two women we would like to speak to following a theft of a purse at ALDI, Monks Cross, York.

It happened at 4.30pm on Wednesday 10 July and involved two women suspects.

One was distracting the victim and the other put her hand in the victim's handbag, stealing her purse.

The purse stolen was a small, pink, leather purse that had three bank cards in it, around £50 in cash and a driving licence.
