We’re appealing for information after a woman pedestrian suffered serious leg injuries when she was hit by a car in Stokesley.
It happened at around 12pm on 31 July in the car park just off Stokesley High Street (outside of Newton’s Solicitors and Contemporary Hair Salon).
The pedestrian, a woman in her 70s, is believed to have been struck by a red Vauxhall Astra and was taken to James Cook Hospital for treatment to her injuries. They are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
The driver of the vehicle has been interviewed by police.
The area was cordoned off for a short time while the officers examined the scene of the collision.
We are now asking anyone in the area, particularly those who used the car park at around 12pm, to check dashcam footage to see if the incident has been captured on their cameras and to anyone who witnessed the incident to get in touch.
