Police investigate assualt involving 90-year-old victim in Whitby

We’re appealing for information after a 90-year-old woman and her neighbour, a man in his 60s, were assaulted by a female suspect.

The incident occurred on Clark Yard, off Church Street, Whitby, on Wednesday 21 August 2024 at about 2.30pm. No injuries were suffered.

We are investigating the incident, and want to hear from anyone who was in the area and saw or heard anything that could assist our enquiries.
