Selby: Ousegate robbery under investigation

We’re appealing for information and video footage about a robbery on Ousegate in Selby at around 8.45pm on Thursday (8 August 2024),

It happened between The Nelson Inn and Ousegate Lodge when the victim said he was approached by a man with brown hair.

The victim said he was chased down the street before being punched in the face and assaulted on the floor.

The victim was wearing black track suit bottoms and a zip-up dark coloured hoodie. He has long brown hair and had an injury to the left side of his face.

No other details are known about the suspect.

We’re appealing for information from anybody who witnessed a disturbance on Ousegate on Thursday evening or residents who may have relevant CCTV or doorbell footage.
