Witness sought to York assault

We are looking for someone who witnessed a violent crime on Portland Street York in July.

On Tuesday 30 July, at around 8:45pm, a group of young men caused a cyclist to fall from his bike on Gillygate. They then followed him into Portland Street where they punched him.

We are trying to find a person we think may have witnessed this attack and helped the victim home.
