We are appealing for information following a break-in at the Cooperative store in Leyburn.
It happened on the night of Monday 23 September when the suspects broke into an outer door at around 10.30pm before breaking into the main door at around 11pm.
Once inside the store they caused damage to the till area before leaving with cash from the tills.
The suspects are both described as male, one was wearing all black clothing and navy blue trainers, and the other one wearing a turquoise jacket, with black trousers and trainers.
We are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the break-in and anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area in the minutes leading up to the break-in.
We are also appealing to any motorists who were passing through the town at the time and may have unknowingly caught the suspects hanging around near the store or caught the break-in on dashcam to get in touch.
Anyone who can assist the investigation is asked to contact PC Ryan Edwards at [email protected] or call 101 and ask for Ryan Edwards.
