We’re appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision on the A63 between Brayton and Wishingwell roundabout at Selby.
It happened just before 9am on Wednesday 11 September and involved a Ford Fiesta car and a Ford Transit van. Just before the collision, a blue BMW X3 had overtaken multiple vehicles but the BMW did not remain on the scene. Officers are now keen to speak to this driver.
Colleagues from Yorkshire Ambulance Service attended and treated both occupants of the Fiesta and Transit van for minor injuries.
We’re appealing for the BMW driver to come forward to speak to us, for any witnesses to the collision, anyone who may have seen the vehicles prior to the collision, or anyone with relevant dashcam footage, to contact us.
Please email [email protected] if you can help.
Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101, and ask for Bethany Seivewright, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
