We have renewed our appeal to find two teenagers after a 14-year-old boy was punched in the face causing injury to his eye.
The incident happened on Ridgeway in Acomb at around 5.20pm on Tuesday 3 September, as the victim was walking down the street with a friend when he was assaulted. He was taken to hospital for treatment.
The suspects are described as both male and aged between 14 and 17.
We are appealing to any members of the public who were in the area at the time, to cast their minds back to the early evening of Tuesday 3 September and get in touch if they recall seeing the incident involving the teenagers.
We’re also appealing to anyone who may have been driving past and may still have dashcam footage and to anyone who has any doorbell video footage that may have captured the incident or the suspects on camera, to get in touch.
We are also appealing to anyone who has any other information that can help to identify the suspects to get in touch.
Please email [email protected] if you have any information that could help our investigation.
Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for Rachel Hughes, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
