We’ve released an image of a man we need to talk to in connection with a race-related hate crime investigation in York city centre.
The incident happened at around 6.30pm on Wednesday (18 September 2024).
The man made off when he was told the police had been called.
He was last seen heading towards the War Memorial at 7.10pm.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate the man.
