As a direct result of our CCTV appeal on Facebook, a 38-year-old local man has been arrested and charged to court for the theft of tobacco from the BP service station on Leeds Road, Pannal, Harrogate, at 7.15pm on Saturday 12 October 2024.
The appeal was issued on Monday (28 October) afternoon which led to several reports from members of the public to support the appeal.
This suspect was arrested at his home address this morning (Thursday 31 October).
Following questioning, he was charged to appear at Harrogate Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 14 November 2024 at 10am, court room 1. He has been bailed with conditions.
