We are investigating an assault on a man in his 80s in York city centre.
It happened outside Lloyds Bank on Piccadilly, between 12.15pm and 12.30pm on Tuesday 1 October 2024.
The victim was walking along Piccadilly when he was approached by another man. He was pushed to the ground, and suffered serious injuries, including a broken leg.
Extensive CCTV and other enquiries are ongoing, and officers want to speak with anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident, and may have seen something that could assist the investigation.
