We’d like to thank members of public in the Foxwood area of York who helped us recover a stolen motorbike.
They reported the KTM 125 Duke after spotting ignition wires had been cut and thinking that the way it was parked in communal grounds on Teal Drive looked suspicious.
We responded and launched an investigation which revealed it had indeed been stolen.
It had been taken from another address in Foxwood overnight on Tuesday into Wednesday despite being secured by three locks.
As part of our investigation, we’re appealing for anyone who saw the motorbike being stolen from the address in Thoresby Road or saw it being ridden in that area or around Teal Drive.
We’re also asking anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage that may have captured the bike being ridden in that area at the time it was stolen.
As ever, we’re also urging people to report anything suspicious.
