Update after appeal over £174 unpaid bill at Scarborough restaurant

On Wednesday, 16 October we issued an appeal after reports that four women left Lookout on the Pier Café in Scarborough without paying a £174 food and drink bill.

As a direct result of the media appeal, the matter has now been resolved between the business owner and the suspects. No criminal action has been taken at the request of the victim, who has kindly thanked us for our involvement.

The appeal is therefore no longer active and we would ask the media to remove it from their channels.
