We’re appealing for information about criminal damage that occurred in Catterick Garrison.
It happened at 6.50pm on 14 November 2024, in Browning Close, Catterick Garrison, and involved two male suspects kicking the front door of a property which has caused damage to the frame.
They are believed to be youths that formed a part of a larger group of around fifteen youths causing anti-social behaviour in the area on the night.
The first suspect was wearing a black puffer-style coat with a black hoodie underneath, with the hood pulled up, black jogging bottoms, and black trainers. The puffer jacket had a small reflective logo on the front of the jacket on the left side.
The second suspect was wearing a dark-coloured baseball cap, a black soft shell sports jacket, with black jogging bottoms, and black trainers.
As the darker nights have drawn in we have seen an increase in anti-social behaviour in the Catterick Garrison area. As a result there has been an increase in police patrols in the area to deter this behaviour.
We would also like to ask parents to consider where their children are, who they are associating with, and what they are doing while out on a night.
We’re appealing for information and CCTV that will lead to the identification of the two youths involved in kicking the door. Please email [email protected] if you have any information that could help our investigation. Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for PC 589 Alex Wilkinson, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
