New-build homes near Selby targeted by thieves

We’re appealing for information about a burglary that occurred in the Staynor Estate, Selby.

It happened between 4.30pm on 15 November and 7am on 16 November 2024, on the construction site of the estate, and involved two new-build properties being broken into and having large appliances stolen.

We’re particularly appealing for information about any suspicious vehicles on Bracken Way, travelling on the estate, towards or away from the building site.

An Enterprise van was sighted in the area at around 5.37am on Saturday 16 November, and we are asking members of the public if they have any information regarding this vehicle or any suspicious people in the area at this time.
