We’re appealing for a driver to come forward after a collision in Leyburn.
It happened at about 1pm on 23 December 2024.
A man was running along the footpath near the Co-op in the Market Place, and began to cross over a junction, when a small red Fiat 500 car turned left in front of him. A collision occurred, with the runner suffering minor injuries. The collision also caused minor damage to the vehicle.
The driver of the vehicle did stop at the scene but unfortunately details were not exchanged.
We want to speak to any witnesses to the collision, or anyone who can identify the vehicle or driver involved. If so, please email [email protected], or call North Yorkshire Police on 101. Please quote reference NYP-23122024-0218.
