Appeal for information following collision in Hutton Rudby

We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a collision that occurred on Campion Lane in Hutton Rudby, on Saturday (14 December 2024).

The incident, which happened at approximately 3.55pm, involved a grey BMW X5 and a black Vauxhall Antara.

Both vehicles are thought to have travelled onto Campion Lane from the Crathorne/Swainby area.

The driver of the BMW X5 was arrested at the scene after failing a roadside breath test.

They were transported to hospital for medical assessment where evidential samples were obtained and are awaiting forensic analysis.

Anyone who witnessed the collision, saw either of the vehicles before the incident, or has dashcam footage of their movements, is asked to come forward.
