Were you in the Slug and Lettuce on Low Ousegate in York last night (23 December)?
We’re appealing for information after a man was hit in the face with a glass.
It happened at around 6.15pm during a disturbance when a 21-year-old man sustained lacerations to his face after being hit by the glass.
As a result of the assault the victim needed to attend hospital for medical treatment.
We’re appealing to anyone who was in the bar and saw what happened and to anyone who can help identify the suspect who left the venue afterwards. He was in the company of a woman and another man who was wearing a distinctive jacket with a camouflage pattern.
Please email [email protected] if you have any information that could help our investigation.
