Were you in Selby town centre on Boxing Day night (26 December)?
We’re appealing for information after a man was assaulted at around 11.20pm near the Market Cross, Finkle Street and the New Inn Pub.
The victim, a man in his thirties, was knocked to the ground and suffered facial injuries during the incident. He was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.
We’re appealing for any witnesses who saw what happened, CCTV footage and dashcam footage from motorists who may have been passing through.
