We’re appealing for information about an assault that occurred in Skipton.
It happened in the grounds of Christ Church by the bottom gate leading to Carleton Street at 6,50pm on Sunday 12 January 2025.
A man was walking his dog around the church yard when six / seven teenagers have assaulted him. Following the incident the victim has sustained swollen closed left eye, bust lip, cut to nose and injured ribs.
A short time after the incident occurred a 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault and possession of class- b drug. He was later released with bail conditions.
There are still a number of suspects outstanding from the incident, please contact us if you recognise the people pictured on CCTV, as they may have information that will assist our investigation.
