We’re appealing for information about a residential burglary that occurred in York.
It happened between 6.35pm and 6.55pm on Sunday 05 January 2025, on Rose Street. Two men gained access to the property through a rear door which caused damage before they were then disturbed by the homeowner.
The suspects are described as two white men in their teens with one male wearing a grey tracksuit top with a dark coloured body warmer over the top. The second man was wearing a two tone grey coloured top.
We’re particularly appealing for information about anyone in the area of Rose Street or Haxby Road around the time of the incident and are asking residents to review their CCTV. Please email [email protected] if you have any information that could help our investigation.
Alternatively, you can call North Yorkshire Police on 101, and ask for Nicki Holmes, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website.
