We’re asking the public if they recognise two men we would like to speak to in connection with a serious assault in York.
The incident happened one year ago this month, so we’re asking people to think back to January last year. Were you in York in the early hours of Sunday 28 January 2024? Do you recognise these two men, who were in the area?
The incident involved three men in their 20s being assaulted in Duncombe Place. They received injuries including cuts and bruises, and facial fractures.
Despite ongoing enquiries since the original incident, we have not been able to identify two men pictured on CCTV. However, they may have important information that could assist the investigation.
If you recognise them, please email [email protected], or call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Alicia Hoyle. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via their website. Please quote reference 12240016744 when passing on information.
