Response officers in Harrogate have recovered a motorbike in Harrogate today which we suspect is possibly stolen.
We attempted to stop the bike on Dragon Parade at just before 12pm. The single occupant abandoned it in the street and made off from us. A 13-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle and possession of a class – A and a class – B drug.
He currently remains in custody.
We have carried our various checks on the bike but currently we are unable to identify its owner.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation or would help in identifying the owner should email [email protected]. You can also call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and ask for Ethan Fleming.
Proof of ownership of the bike will need to be provided.
If you wish to remain anonymous, you can pass information to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Please quote the North Yorkshire Police reference number 12250005496 when passing information.
