We are appealing for witnesses after a collision occurred in Haxby, York.
It happened at 3.30pm on Thursday 6 February 2025, and involved a 12-year-old boy who was cycling home from school along York Road, and a silver car.
The vehicle did not stop at the scene, but a wing mirror was left behind. It is silver in colour, possibly from a Mercedes.
The boy was thankfully not seriously injured and after a visit to hospital was discharged home.
