York fail-to-stop collision under investigation

We are investigating a report of a fail-to-stop collision that occurred in Huntington, York.
It happened just after 1.15pm on 8 February 2025 on Huntington Road.
Extensive damage was caused to a parked unattended Honda Civic car by a red Audi A4. The Audi did not stop.
Dashcam footage from a public-spirited passing motorist who placed a note on the damaged vehicle as a witness is currently being reviewed.
