Appeal issued on 10 March 2025...
Following a wanted person appeal earlier today (Monday 10 March 2025), a 35-year-old local man has been arrested on suspected of being involved in a violent incident at a flat on Middleton Road, Acomb, at around 6.10pm on Sunday (9 March 2025).
The victim, a local man aged in his 40s, suffered serious injuries and is currently receiving hospital treatment.
Three men, aged 56, 49 and 27, were arrested shortly after the incident. A 40-year-old man was arrested earlier today (Monday 10 March) in connection with the investigation.
They are being held in custody for questioning.
Witnesses to the incident are urged to call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and speak to the Force Control Room.
