A trio of York businesses targeted by burglars.

We are appealing for information following commercial burglaries of the Shambles Tavern and Caffé Nero, and an attempted burglary at Monk Bar Chocolatiers in the early hours of Tuesday 15 April.

At around 00:57am the front window of the Shambles Tavern at 44 Shambles, York was broken and items, including a till, were taken.

Monk Bar Chocolatiers, at 7 The Shambles, York was also targeted, with a window being smashed in an attempt to enter the premises.

Caffe Nero at Kings Square, which is nearby, was also broken into.

North Yorkshire Police believe that these incidents may be linked.
