Patrick Thelwell, 23-years-old. of Heslington in York, appeared for his second hearing at York Magistrates Court today (Friday 14 April 2023).
Thelwell was charged with threatening behaviour contrary to Section 4 of the Public Order Act 1986.
He was sentenced to a 12 month community order and 100 hours of unpaid work.
This follows an investigation by North Yorkshire Police into an incident which involved eggs that were thrown at HM The King in York on 9 November 2022.
