The Criminal Behaviour Order was imposed after Maddison was sentenced at York Magistrates Court on 25 April 2024 for shoplifting offences. It is in place until April 2026.
Breaching the order's conditions is a criminal offence. Any breaches should be reported to North Yorkshire Police on 101, via our website, or 999 in an emergency.
A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Anyone who steals from shops in our area must expect to be dealt with robustly. A Criminal Behaviour Order is now in place to prevent Maddison causing further disruption to city centre retailers."
