Police have issued an appeal to help find a missing Burnley man.
Michael Wright, 52, was reported missing on 14 August and has not been seen since 15 August when he was in Darlington and asked members of the public if he could use their phone.
Michael has family links to both Skipton and Burnley. He also has connections to Manchester.
It is believed that he has no access to a mobile phone or money and we are becoming very concerned for his welfare the longer he remains out of contact.
Michael is described as white, around 6ft tall, of very slim build with dark brown hair and a dark, greying beard. He has tattoos on his arms and chest.
He was last seen wearing a dark green waxed jacket, a black jumper, dark blue jeans and blue trainers however, he may have changed clothing since then.
Michael had indicated that he intended to travel to London, although it is not known if he did.
We are appealing to anyone who has seen Michael, to please call us on 101 and pass information to the Force Control Room. If you have an immediate sighting of Michael, or know where he is now, please call the police on 999.
Please quote reference number 12230152871 when passing on information.
We also appeal to Michael that if he sees or hears this appeal, to please get in touch with the police or your family and friends and let us know that you are safe. If you prefer you can contact the Missing People charity on 116 000 and ask them to forward a message to let everyone know you are safe.
