Police name the victim of Fossgate assault

Police have today released the identity of a man who died following an assault in York.
North Yorkshire Police can name the victim as Darren James Pudsey, age 45, from Upper Poppleton, York.

Sadly, the father of four died following an assault outside the Terrace Sports Bar on Fossgate in York on Tuesday 19 April 2022.
A man is his 30s has been arrested in connection with the incident and has been released on bail while enquiries continue.
