Police are investigating a racial assault against a man in Sherburn-in-Elmet.
Officers are urging anyone who witnessed the incident on Church View to get in touch.
A woman racially abused the man, who is black, shortly after he used a nearby cash machine.
She then assaulted him before throwing a bottle at a car he got into, which damaged the vehicle.
It happened to the rear of Domino’s pizza shop at between 3pm and 3.30pm last Friday (15 April).
Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to the police should call 101, select option 2 and ask for Pauline Law.
