Arrests after Northallerton incident

Shortly after 11pm on Monday 2 May 2022, police received reports of a man who had been attacked at his home address in Brompton near Northallerton.
Officers attended two addresses in Northallerton last night (3 May 2022) and arrested a 32 year old man on suspicion of wounding with intent and possession of an offensive weapon. A 52 year old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause grievous bodily harm with intent.
The man and woman are currently in police custody.
