Police have arrested a man in Richmond after an operation to seize class-A drugs.
The man in his 20s was taken into custody after officers entered a flat in the Reeth Road area of the town on Thursday.
He was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class-A and class-B drugs, which were also seized, and an investigation is ongoing. He has been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Members of the public are being urged to report concerns about drug use in their community by visiting the North Yorkshire Police website and using the ‘report it’ link, or calling the force on 101 and selecting option 1.
