A 23-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence during the Royal visit in York on Wednesday (9 November 2022) remains on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
The man has not been charged with any offences at this time. Please note, we do not disclose bail conditions.

A 23-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence during the Royal visit in York on Wednesday (9 November 2022) has been released on conditional police bail while enquiries continue.
He was detained following an incident as King Charles III and the Queen Consort arrived at Micklegate Bar just before 11am.
To clarify, the man has not been charged with any offences at this time.
Also, we do not disclose bail conditions.
