Police were contacted at 2.40pm on Thursday 15 June 2023 with a report of a robbery at a jewellers on Sheep Street in Skipton.
Witnesses reported three masked men had broken into the jewellers and had made off down an alleyway behind the shop.
It’s believed they left the area in a small, dark-coloured vehicle with a significant amount of stolen jewellery.
Following extensive police enquiries, two suspects have been arrested and the vehicle, which was also stolen, has been located.
Police are appealing for the public's help to identify the third man.
Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity at the jewellers, or saw a vehicle matching the description in suspicious circumstances at the time of the incident is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 and pass the information to our Force Control Room, quoting reference 12230109662.
Detectives would particularly like to speak to anyone with mobile phone, dashcam or doorbell footage of the incident or the vehicle either entering or leaving the area.
